You Tube, the online video sharing community owned by Google, launched its Indian version . Youtube has already signed up a host of Indian content partners for its local face - Eros Entertainment, Rajshri Films, IIFA, ministry of tourism, IIT Delhi, NDTV, UTV, Zoom TV, India TV, Krishcricket, etc.Before India, YouTube had localised versions in 19 other countries, which includes Australia, Brazil, Spain, Russia, etc.YouTube, the decision to bring YouTube to India was influenced by the fact that in terms of the user base, India registered one of the fastest growth, figuring in the top 15 countries from being in the list of the top 30 countries in one year's time. Arsiwala also sees a great opportunity in the increasing number of mobile users in the country.YouTube has been adding around 2 lakh users monthly. Hundreds of videos are uploaded on YouTube everyday.
